Making Your Life Easier

Rate includes one can (35 gal.) or bag up to 40 lbs. per week. Extra cans or bags must have a GARBAGE TAG attached.

Our service day is Thursday for Franklin Street, both sides and all dead ends off of Franklin, including East Greene and the entire West Side of town. Please set out all garbage and recycling the night before or before 5 am on Thursday.  

Our service day is Friday for everyone on the East Side of town - East of Franklin Street. Please set out all garbage and recycling the night before or before 5 am on Friday.  

Please call Rudd Sanitation Inc to arrange for the pickup of larger items (i.e. furniture / appliances) and to know about the pricing details. We have specific days to pick up trash.

All Items Must Be Clean

  • Motor oil needs to be in a clear plastic container with a screw on lid and set next to garbage.
  • Glass, plastic bags and Styrofoam products go in the garbage.

Recyclable Items

  • Paper - newspaper with inserts, office paper, phone books, junk mail, magazines
  • Corrugated cardboard and chipboard – unwaxed, broken down, and tied in bundles (smaller than 4’x4’)
  • Plastic - Most plastic containers with recycle symbols [number included], numbers 1 through 7 except number 6
  • Tin and aluminum cans - all food and beverage containers
